once a week (or two) i try to have an activity where i incorporate a verse from the bible to teach ruth about life + jesus. i try not to do too many learning activities at her age because i think she needs to enjoy being little and knowledge will eventually follow. with that being said its important that she learns about the bible and our savior through experiencing new things.
this week we learned about the rainbow. she was able to learn about colors while using her chubby little fingers to mold the clay. i then read a verse explaining Noah and the rainbow promise. she soaked it in but mainly enjoyed messing up our rainbow we created ; )
"Then you will start the world again under a bright rainbow. And I will promise that spring and summer, harvest and winter will continue forever." - Genesis 6-9

ReplyDeletelove it! i need to have that perspective. Funny that Wesley usually surprises me with the things he learned on his own instead of the things I try to teach him.
